What is FICEMEA?
FICEMEA is the international federation that brings together Ceméa associations from around the world. ficemea It promotes a project that is at once political, ethical, and philosophical: that of “New Education,” which places the learner at the center of their own development by encouraging action, cooperation, and experimentation.

Governance
FICEMEA is organized around three governing bodies:
- The General Assembly—the network’s supreme governing body, which meets every two years to set global policy directions
- The Board of Directors—which oversees the implementation of decisions between General Assemblies
- The International Biennial Conference on Progressive Education—the network’s flagship educational event
